About

Rio Permana

I’m Rio Permana, a fullstack engineer based in Indonesia. I have about nine years in the field — from enterprise Notes/Domino work into Go, Laravel, React, and TypeScript systems that businesses actually run.

This site is a public notebook. Notes come from real delivery: racey quotas, sync when a device is offline, messaging APIs, and the gap between a clean local demo and production.

It is not a product catalog, a tutorial syllabus, or a course funnel. If a post names a tool, I used it. If it describes a failure, it happened.

What I write about

  1. 01

    Backend correctness

Local tests pass; production has two requests at once. I write down where that gap actually bites.

  2. 02

    Realtime & messaging

What a delivery status can and cannot prove — chat links, webhooks, retries that arrive out of order.

  3. 03

    Ship with copilots

Where an agent's green suite and a green production system stop being the same claim.

  4. 04

    Indie SaaS ops

The unglamorous half of shipping solo: DNS, static deploys, the path that stays up without a pager.
